Meet the Campbells

Meredith and I had to reschedule, what seemed like, 1000 times. And (normally I wouldn’t say this) I am so glad that we did. We ended up having the most spectacular weather for their family session! Not only was the weather awesome, but the location was perfect. I had no idea this little paradise existed in Claysville.Meredith, thank you so much for sharing your sweet family with me for the afternoon. It was an absolute pleasure meeting all of you!

Laura + Steven

Meet Laura and Steven. Laura is probably the first real friend I made at Auburn, and Steven is her sweet fiance who just moved all the way from Arizona to be with her.Laura spent almost an entire semester living with me in my studio apartment in Birmingham, and although I was happy to get my space back so that I could be as messy as I wanted without anyone knowing–I also missed our late-night chats and Sangrias after particularly hard days. So of course I was absolutely thrilled when Laura asked me to take their engagement pictures! It was nearly impossible to pick favorites, so here are several from their session!
We had a little too much fun with the shadow pictures…
Ok, ok… back to the sweet stuff…
Laura and Steven–I loved every second of your engagement session, and I cannot wait for your wedding!

Jessica + Seth

I knew from the minute I met Jessica that I was going to love working with her. Her wedding quickly went from being a sweet, backyard wedding to something so much more for me. After spending the day with Jessica and her family, I can easily say that this was one of my favorite weddings to date.To begin with, here is one of her bridal photos. I don’t think it’s necessary for me to point out that she is absolutely stunning.
The bridal party was absolutely hilarious. No matter what I asked them to do, they were all over it. I am so thankful to be able to work with such fun people. It makes carrying around a heavy camera for 6-10 hours on a Saturday (or, in this case, a Friday) absolutely worth it:)
Jessica and Seth, congratulations on your wedding day! Aside from the swarm of ladybugs, the entire day was absolutely flawless. I am so excited for the two of you as you begin your journey as husband and wife!

Jessica + Zack

Jessica and Zack got married on an absolutely beautiful day in October. I was especially excited for this wedding because Jessica and I went to high school together. There are very few things I remember (or care to remember, for that matter) about high school–and almost all of them involve this sweet girl.
Here is a quick preview of their gorgeous day. Keep your eye out for a few less-than-serious, not-your-average-wedding-pictures.
We had some down-time before the wedding. So while I was taking detail shots, the guys had a little jam-session and one of the bridesmaids put on a puppet show to keep everyone entertained.
And then it happened–2:00 finally arrived. It was finally time to open the church doors and walk down the aisle to become Mrs. Cavender. The pure joy on Jessica’s face speaks for itself.
Jessica, I am so thankful you chose me to photograph your wedding, and I wish you and Zack a lifetime of happiness together!

Megan + Drew

Let me tell you a little secret… engagement sessions may be my absolute favorite.

Don’t get me wrong, I love a good family session. But nothing makes me happier than capturing that head-over-heels, crazy-about-each-other chemistry between almost-married couples. While we’re talking about head-over-heels in love couples, I’d like to introduce you to Megan and Drew.

Megan is actually a sorority sister of mine from Auburn, and I’m not sure what I would’ve done without her. There were times when she was my rock, my new perspective, and my source of a much-needed laugh more times than I can count.

Megan, I am so happy that you found what you were looking for. Watching you with Drew, I am absolutely certain that you have found your perfect fit. I love you so very much and I wish you and Drew all the happiness your hearts can stand!

Oh, and just for kicks… here’s the requested photo:)You guys are too cute!
